An hysterical new take on a comic classic! After Flo’s husband leaves her, Olive invites her to move in with her. The clash of personalities soon erupts and the battle begins! Move over Oscar & Felix-make room for Olive & Florence! No more guys playing Poker — enter a wacky group of ladies playing Trivial Pursuit. And instead of the Pigeon Sisters, meet two hysterical Spanish brothers!
With all the memorable comedy of the original story, this entirely new version takes this great show to a whole new level.

'Yet another packed house enjoyed the riotous story. Fast-paced, packed with double entendre, naughty intentions, compromising situations & hysterical characters. The talented cast, including new-comers & veterans of The Playhouse, pulls this one off like second nature.' — Seaway News
'The Playhouse sizzles with The Amorous Ambassador! A fast-paced, beautifully timed production. The exceptional cast delivers lines in rapid fire, flings themselves in and out of doors, makes multiple costume changes and tumbles through some slap stick action that would make the Keystone Kops proud.' — The Morrisburg Leader
The ambassador, his wife and daughter all pretend to leave for separate weekend engagements setting the stage for an hysterical diplomatic disaster!
Unbeknownst to each other, one by one they secretly return to the ‘empty house’ for their own private ‘engagements’. Enter an overzealous CIA agent, a bumbling secretary and a butler who attempts to direct the insane traffic as everyone resorts to hilarious antics in an effort to hide their shenanigans.

The Long Weekend is long on laughs! Witty, by times biting & always hilarious. Foster has a gift for writing the way real people actually talk. Audiences will love spending a Long Weekend with the Nashes & the Truemans. Foster is holding a mirror up to relationships & the results are outrageous, unexpected & very, very funny!
— The Morrisburg Leader
Features some great performances by the foursome of very talented actors whose stage chemistry is electric. They are so much fun to watch.
— The Seaway News
Love and marriage get an hilarious test in this Foster comedy. When Wynn & Max invite friends Abby & Roger to their cottage, the weekend turns into a disaster as both couples engage in a battle of wits that leads to eye-popping surprises and plot twists. And we’re not going to tell you any of them!
A good old fashioned comedy delight that was part of our first ‘all-comedy season’ about a decade ago. One of Foster’s earliest and most popular comedies filled with witty one-liners and situations.

Another laugh-a-minute farce from the best and funniest in the biz!
It all happens the morning of a wedding when the over-worked father-of-the-bride gets banged on the head and thinks he sees a beautiful girl standing beside him. But no one else can see her!
His strange behavior with this imaginary lady threatens to cancel the ceremony by driving the entire wedding party crazy—including a bossy wife, an overbearing mother-in-law, a whacky father-in-law, an impatient father of the groom and, of course, the bride!
'For rollicking, laugh-out-loud entertainment, theatre goers cannot do better than The Playhouse's sparkling new comedy, THERE GOES THE BRIDE. It's just such fun! Sit back and enjoy the outrageous comedy.' Morrisburg Leader
