Standby for our 2022 Season Announcement!
It'll be worth the wait!
The last two years have been challenging for the live theatre industry. Upper Canada Playhouse is no exception. But thanks to the tenacity and commitment of The Playhouse’s Board, artists, technicians, staff, volunteers and audience, we fought the good fight and eventually focused our stage lights on a season of 105 performances of 5 great shows from September through December last year. We entertained an audience of 10,000! And we did it safely!
It wasn’t easy. We all jumped through hoops to get there. We had fewer seats to sell. But they were filled with enthusiastic audience members. Our oldest was 103! Together with over 800 supporters of our Help The Playhouse Get On With The Show campaign, you played your part in keeping professional theatre and music alive at The Playhouse!
We look forward to getting back to our regular Season in 2022. Watch for our 2022 Season announcement & start booking your tickets on April 4th! Til then, we’ve saved a seat for you. Can’t wait to welcome you back.
Upper Canada Playhouse-- everyone’s entertainment choice! We just love saying that! Thank you for helping to make it happen!
See you soon!
"Quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed Rockin' Round the Christmas Tree yesterday afternoon. In fact it is the best Christmas show we have ever seen. Everything was wonderful about the performance.
I would also like to say on behalf of myself and my husband Bill how much we appreciate the Play House efforts to keep us safe during this Covid time. You have
done a tremendous job!!!"
M.L., Russell, Ontario
"On Thursday, December 16th a group of 38 residents of Russell travelled to Morrisburg to see Rockin' Round the Christmas Tree. We had such a good time. The performers were so amazingly talented and Santa was a great addition. We want to express our sincere appreciation to Courtney in the Box Office who endured my numerous telephone calls to get it all sorted out. This is our annual Christmas event and plan on continuing it for many years to come."
