We’ve earned the reputation for having one of our community’s first holiday events of the season. And we’re doing it again this year! Start the Holiday Season off with a bang and a ‘bid’ by joining us for our 2013 Annual Christmas Gift Auction on Saturday, November 16th at The Morrisburg Meeting Centre. The evening begins with a 5PM social hour with free wine & cheese followed by a scrumptious dinner at 6:15PM and the Live Auction at 8PM. The Silent Auction continues throughout the evening. Tickets are $55.
The products and services featured in the Live and Silent Auctions are generously donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals. They include a wide array of practical and whimsical items with something for everyone. They are also unique ideas for that special someone on your gift list– or just for yourself!
The fun of the Auction is not only bidding on these wonderful gift items. A popular part of this annual event is the opportunity for those attending to socialize, share a wonderful meal, support professional live theatre and enjoy one of the community’s first Yuletide events of the Season!
Last year’s Auction raised over $16,000 which was directed towards the purchase of new seats. This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better. Funds will be used to renovate and upgrade the production and public areas of the building to allow us to carry on our tradition of producing a high standard of production and also to continue to offer our patrons a comfortable and safe venue for enjoying live professional theatre.
