Upper Canada Playhouse has become THE entertainment choice of over 40,000 people-including the preferred destination of an ever-growing number of Bus Tours and Groups of all kinds!
When the Toronto Star visited us they remarked that ‘Patrons are flocking here by car & coach to take in the local sights and top quality entertainment’.
The Playhouse is actually a former Toothbrush and Argyle Sock Factory, converted to an intimate, climate controlled, fully accessible theatre with state of the art seating where everyone’s close to the action. It is complete with a licensed canteen. We offer the beauty of the St. Lawrence River and Parks, a host of dining and tourist attractions and a close side-trip to historic Upper Canada Village. A tour of the area’s many magnificent murals makes for an interesting side-trip, starting with a depiction of Old Morrisburg’s Pre-Seaway Main Street on The Playhouse building itself.
We can also connect you to one of our fabulous local dining establishments that are experienced and ready for your Group Dining/Theatre Experience!
We also offer great rates for Groups of 10 or more.
The Playhouse is located in the quaint Village of Morrisburg just off the 401 at the 750 exit and a short drive from such larger centres as Ottawa, Brockville, Montreal, Cornwall and Northern New York State.
